This is my place to go on Wednesday evening, glass of wine, bang bang shrimp ( that is what keeps me coming back ) and the ahi tuna Tokyo style!!!!!

Bonefish is one of my go-to spots out here in southern Johnson coutny, and for good reasons. The atmosphere? Clean and classy. The service? Fast and friendly. The food? Dangerously delicious! (Heed my warning, one bite and you'll crave this food forever!) It's very upscale, making it a great date spot (or somewhere to take anybody you want to impress- i.e out-of-towners, coworkers, business associates). The only down side is that the upscale atmosphere and cusine are slightly mirrored in price. **Mind you, quality seafood in Kansas is a rarity, though, and the price is very reasonable given the quantity and amazing quality you recieve in return.** Food tips: **try the Bang Bang Shrimp (Only 5$ on Wednesday nights! I'd order 500 if I could!!). Funny story- I used to HATE shrimp until my boyfriend force fed me Bang Bang shrimp about a year ago, and while I still most shrimp, this stuff is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! **The Ahi Tuna appetizer is is absolutely fabulous! If you don't try it, I feel really bad for you. **They have some fun entrees like Sea Bass and Rainbow Trout, both of which will please even the pickiest eaters! **They also offer steak and chicken, I've never tried the chicken, but the steak is pretty good. I'd stick to seafood though. Not the the steak is under-par, just that seafood here is obviously the speciality, and it's so stinkin' good! Save steak for a steakhouse, here, treat yourself to seafood! **For dessert? Try the creme brulee. Even if you don't have room left in your belly after your amazing meal, just get it, and eat it, and enjoy the melt-in-your-mouthy angel chorus that is Bonefish Creme Brulee. No matter how many belt notches your belly breaks through after such an indulgent meal, you will not regret it!

I love Bonefish. Went last night for the $6 Bang Bang Shrimp. Also enjoyed the $3 happy hour wine. Perfect combination for a Hump Day slump buster. Being a north lander, Bonefish is a true treasure to have. It has plaza class, an elegant ambience, yet is just modern enough to feel comfortable and casual.....and be close to home. The staff are top notch, and I always enjoy dining at the bar seating.
